Firstly, it's very thoughtful. Secondly, it's in the spirit intended. As such, I can't find fault with your answers save for the one about caning. I think you are way overestimating what a stay in jail would be like. Even "realtively safe" I would expect it to suck. But the reason I would take the caning is that I can't afford to miss 90 days of work. With painkillers--although I do not underestimate how much it would hurt (and I don't: if I had to tough it out to get released? No-go.
