Oh MAN. I really, really, really wish I had read this post this morning BEFORE I wrote an entire page about Darwin on my History test today. I had no idea on the exact years he was around, so I just said “19th century.” Damn.

History works much better when you do the research.

Darwins theory should not be taken for granted.. I think it is his theory which has made most of the people in the world skeptical about god.. people belive that if our decendents were monkeys and apes and we were animals then where is the existance of soul and god.. i also think not many attempts have been made to verify the theory mentioned by him.

If darwin was wrong he would want to rollback his theory to make people understand that we are humanbeing ever since.. lets take this 200th birthday as an opprotunity to actually debate and analyse the genisis of human being..

Actually, most parts of his theory have been verified repeatedly over the past 150 years. This is why it was such an achievement: the experimental evidence in favor of the theory of evolution is extremely strong. There’s plenty of good information available on how the theory has been verified; http://www.talkorigins.org is a good place to start reading if you’re interested.
