Filling Your Tank

I can’t say too much about this Dilbert Blog post or it would give away the ending. I’ll just give you a hook; you’ll have to read it for yourself.

Imagine you could make fuel out of poor people.

  1. I’m surprisingly okay with the people-for-fuel thing. After all: we need energy to get us out of foreign oil–it’s part of the war on terror and we all gotta do our part.

Right–or, wait–this is some kind analogy thing innit?

  2. All those who chose cremation should be used for fuel so that there would be some benefit from all the greenhouse gasses produced. A tax benefit should be offered to those who choose a “green solution” by having their carbon fixed beneath a metre of sod, but only if the grave is dug by hand. The second group could be referred to as “all those predestined for burial” to satisfy Albert Einstein and all the other theoretical determinists who contradict themselves by their practice of living as if free will exists.
